Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer who has been recognized for her talents. She's a Sagittarius born on December 3 1960. She was born in North Carolina. She's the oldest of three siblings who were born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne a psychologist. Her heritage is English-Scottish. Because of her father's work, the Moore family was often moved and she was unable to form friendships or maintain ones. Moore started acting in play after she relocated with her family to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. After graduating, Moore moved to New York, where she began her journey in Off-Broadway Theater. Moore began her career in theater off Broadway in New York, after she graduated. In 1985, she made her on-screen debut on The Edge of Night. She played the roles as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes that was her first major role. In 1988 she was an actor in the show, and won a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later criticized as an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first films. She received several nominations and acclaim for the first film. Moore received her first film role as the lead role in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most popular films released that year. The year 1999 was the first time she received a SAG award for her work in Magnolia. The Hours starred Moore in 2002, and was nominated for nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) along with a host of other movies. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has been on numerous TV and film series. Moore's latest role as a leading actress is In When You Finish saving the World (2022). She's established herself in Hollywood and is a successful children's book author. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became an N.Y.T. Best-seller, it was also transformed into a TV series and music. The author also released My Mom is Foreigner in 2013, a memoir in 2013. In her career as a highly successful actress and author Moore's personal life is public domain. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 they separated. Moore has two children and a son with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003.
